Our starting point is Jessir El Khalas, in Aazibeh El Tahta. We leave for the old vineyards of Jezzine, enjoying a beautiful panoramic view of the Bkassine Forest.
We then climb through the valley of Aazibeh El Fawka, a magnificent geological site which also represents an important water reserve for the city of Jezzine.
We then arrive at an area separating Chouf from the Bekaa region, called As Sibeh. It is located at an altitude of 1740 meters and offers an impressive panoramic view of Jezzine, Chouf, Bekaa, Lake Karaaoun and Mount Hermon.
This is where you can take a break and refuel with something to eat, before heading back to the main square of Aytanite, the end point of the hike.
From there, you can go back to Jezzine by taxi or car, unless you have planned to spend a night in one of the guest houses on site, before leaving the next day.
