I’ve been a guide in the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve since 2012, and a certified LMT (Lebanon Mountain Trail) guide since 2017. I’m originally from this region and live just near the reserve. I first worked there as a ranger, before becoming a guide.
For me, it was quite a natural progression: I studied History at university, which led me to take a deep interest in the local heritage. And I spent my childhood surrounded by nature. Today, I love to combine both nature and history during my hikes—there’s so much to share!
I guide hikers of all levels through the Jabal Moussa Reserve and along the Lebanon Mountain Trail, as well as on other paths in the Batroun, Jbeil, and Keserwan regions. My favorite trails include the ones leading to Chouwein Lake and those around Kehmaz, at the entrance of the reserve. I also have a strong emotional connection to the Batroun area, from the coastline to the mountains.
Over time, hiking has become a real passion. In fact, I believe you can’t do this job without passion! We have incredible nature here in Lebanon. The country is still full of hidden treasures—you just need to take the time to discover them. For me, every hike is a journey.
