Fady Beayno

Fady Beayno is a passionate tour guide with a degree in Archaeology obtained in 1995. Married and a proud father, he discovered his calling early in life, drawn to both history and adventure. Since 1992, he has explored Lebanon’s underground as a dedicated caver, and in 2004, he transitioned into the world of tour guiding. His unique background allows him to offer rich, immersive experiences that blend culture, nature, and authenticity.

As an archaeologist, Fady took part in major rescue excavations in Beirut between 1994 and 1998, during a time when the Lebanese capital was considered the largest open archaeological site in the world. Trained by English archaeologists from English Heritage, he later led numerous excavation projects across Lebanon under the Directorate General of Antiquities. These experiences gave him firsthand access to significant discoveries that helped unveil Lebanon’s complex and ancient history.

Alongside his archaeological work, Fady’s passion for caving led him to co-found the ALES caving society, where he served as president. He explored vertical shafts reaching depths of over 600 meters and mapped caves stretching more than 10 kilometers. He also participated in caving expeditions in Syria and France. His contributions to publications on Lebanese archaeology and speleology reflect his dedication to deepening and sharing knowledge in these fields.

Today, Fady channels his lifelong experiences into his work as a tour guide, helping visitors discover a side of Lebanon that few ever see. Fluent in French, English, and Arabic—and currently learning Spanish—he creates memorable and personalized tours filled with hidden gems, fascinating stories, and genuine encounters. For Fady, every journey is an opportunity to connect, explore, and inspire.
