Lindos Daou

I've been a local guide in the Keserwan region for about 15 years, specializing in mountain activities such as rock climbing, rappelling, and hiking. I'm passionate about the mountains: a mountaineer and certified climbing guide by the French Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing (FFME), I've been climbing since 2004.

In Lebanon, I co-founded the Lebanese Climbing Association, which promotes the sport and works to protect climbing areas. I'm also part of the Mountain Rescue unit of the Lebanese Red Cross.

Beyond climbing, I lead hikes for all levels, including cultural hikes that pass by Roman ruins and other historical sites. We talk about the region's history, and often end the day sharing a meal together.

Among the activities I offer are also stargazing nights, with or without dinner around a campfire. For those interested, it's even possible to camp and sleep in tents — even in the snow during winter! I also organize ski and snowshoeing hikes.

Personally, I’m passionate about sports in general. I'm a Lebanese triathlon vice-champion and regularly take part in cycling events and races in Lebanon and around the world. I’ve already summited 36 peaks globally and I'm part of “Team Lebanon,” aiming to be the first Lebanese group to complete the Seven Summits challenge — climbing the highest mountain on each continent.
As you can probably tell, sport is essential in my life — and I’m committed to sharing that passion with as many people as possible. I also organize outdoor activities through the NGO Sports for Life.
