Cafe des cèdres

Café des Cèdres was established in 1942 as a pioneer in the Cedars area. It replaced a former hotel closed in 1934 after the government had ordered all hotels within 600-meter distance from the Cedar Forest to be demolished. The founder is the last manager of the former hotel in which place the Café des Cèdres was built. He is still the current owner. It started as a modest restaurant to enjoy the view of the Forest with a spacious terrace. Now it expanded to four times its original design.
