Laqlouq Ski Resort

The station is 1750m high and 62km far from Beirut. It is one of the most beautiful skiing resorts in the country. The trails of this station have been modernized in 1996 and 1997, and nine ski lifts, including three chairlifts, are functioning now. Moreover, the International Ski Federation authorized the inauguration of a new trail that holds the name of “Roger Ducret”.

It’s an alpine trail for giant Slalom in international competitions. Moreover, this station is fascinating because of its beautiful trails for amateurs and beginners.

A big part of Mount Lebanon is visible from the slopes of Laqlouq when the weather is bright. Furthermore, many other leisure activities are available for non-skiers like horse riding, tennis, cycling, mountain climbing... The three hotels that are close to the trails are located in Laqlouq, Annaya, and Ehmej. There are also chalets, villas, nightclubs, restaurants, and snack-bars.

Welcome to Meghrak ! People call it the happy place. Every winter this house gets submerged with water, its story started decades ago.  

The land has been in the name of the Abi Nader Family for so long. Their great-grandfather was hiking his way through the forests of Abdelli when he stumbled upon a rare gem carefully crafted by mother nature. He fell in love with its tranquility, with the beautiful birds chirping, the trees and the lake. "I need to get this place", he said. 

Dr. Hanina Abi Nader recently returned from living in the US and decided to open the place to the public. That was how the idea of a small non-profit Eco-tourist project came to his mind!

A beautiful 700-square meter garden awaits all Jroud guests in the middle of which guests can enjoy with their glasses of wine, the small wading pool reflecting  the proud Aaqoura peaks during the day and the sparkling planets and stars at night.
