VineyardFrom flat to steep terraces, Atibaia's winery has seen the light of day following our will to revive those fallow terraces and tame them by planting vines. The first cultivated locality was the one surrounding our old house in Smar Jbeil that dates back to the 17th century, transformed into a cellar in 2007. Rich in minerals the soil is profound and extends over one hectare. The plot of land of Jran is composed of a dozen of winding terraces that are exposed to the North East and thus favorable to the morning sunshine.
Mrah el zeyet's soil is gravelly; it is not subject to sea breeze and humidity; thus it remains the coldest of all three vineyards.

VineyardThe name IXSIR derives from ‘Iksir’, the original Arabic word for ‘Elixir’, a word common to many languages that defines the purest form of all substances - a secret potion that grants eternal youth and love.
The vision behind IXSIR is to reveal the best terroirs of Lebanon, some long since forgotten. Cultivated with respect to sustainable agriculture, IXSIR’s vineyards are spread across the mountains of Lebanon on clay-calcareous and limestone soil, from Batroun to Jezzine, benefiting from microclimates that are unique to Lebanon. IXSIR’s vineyards culminate at an altitude of 1,800 metres, making them the highest in the Northern Hemisphere.

Craft & SouvenirsBarbar, The Soap Workshop!
In the heart of Byblos,
In the old souk, where our Boutique,...
the oldest city in the world, origin of the first Phoenician alphabet,...
Our soap factory is located in Amchit, close to Byblos, the village where Ernest Renan, the French orientalist lived.
The soap workshop was founded in 2019 by the Engineer Pierre Nacouzi, an expert in agronomic sciences, in order to commemorate the memory of his Father Barbar, who taught him how to make soap. Hence, the name.
Since his childhood, making traditional laurel soap for personal use, Engineer Nacouzi, decided, while keeping the quality of tradition and while combining business with pleasure, to launch a new initiative to create an all-natural local quality brand... Barbar, a natural and artisanal soap.
Day after day, this range grows to become today composed of more than thirthy genres.
All our soaps are made using the ancestral method of cold saponification. This method makes it possible to preserve all the properties of the essential oils used and to make a firm, creamy soap rich in vegetable glycerin.
The essential oils are chosen according to their dermocosmetic properties, which give them an incomparable fragrance and provide personalized care.
The ingredients used are of organic and fair trade origin and/or from local producers, if they are produced locally.
After manufacturing, the soaps are dried away from light, in a dry and ventilated place for at least 5 weeks depending on each genre.
The soap workshop offers an authentic range of bath and beauty products. You can find the Genuine Laurel Soaps, Lavender Soaps, Sage Soaps, Rose Soaps, Coconut Soaps, Coconut Soaps with Carrot, Rosemary Soaps, Aloe Vera Soaps, Shea Soaps, Dead Sea Mud Soaps, Honey Soaps, Jasmine Soaps, Mango Soaps, Ambar Soaps....
Our daily objective is to promote the well-being of our product users, by relying on the resources offered by nature.
The majority of our products are local and natural, available at good prices.
When buying our soaps, you are sure to have acquired the treasures of nature, the history of Byblos and the tradition of Amchit, through a quality product, handmade with passion and love.
