Hammam Al Jadid, meaning ‘New Bath,’ was constructed around 1740 and is by far the largest public bath in Tripoli. Even though this bath has not been used since the 1970’s, its worn out majestic glory always stimulates imagination and fantasy. It was built by Ibrahim Pasha ElAzem and covers an area of 600m2.
