Niha Roman temple
The site of Niha features four Roman temples, built between the 1st and 3rd centuries AD. Like most of the Roman ruins in the Bekaa Valley, they incorporate elements related to the worship of local deities, such as Haradanes, to whom one of the temples is dedicated.

The character featured in one of the photos is visible in the Grand Temple of Niha. The sculpture depicts a priest wearing a tunic, with two icons on his chest representing deities. The priest wears a hat adorned with a crescent moon and holds a bowl in his right hand, pouring sacred water over a small altar, while his left hand holds a floral aspergillum.

Some experts, such as the German archaeologist Klaus Stephan Freyberger, believe this sculpted relief represents the priest Narkisos, son of Kasios, an honorary member of the Senate of the Heliopolis colony.
