L'Escalier de Saint-Nicolas, is a popular public staircase located in Achrafieh. It connects Rue Gouraud and Rue Sursock uphill and spans an impressive length of 500 meters with 125 steps, making it the longest staircase in town.
For the past 45 years, L'Escalier de l'Art has been a renowned destination for tourists and art enthusiasts, as it serves as an open-air art exhibition space twice a year. Due to the countless exhibitions held there, it has earned the nickname L'Escalier de L'Art.
