Juno Temple in Beit Meri, Metn, is part of the town’s Byzantine and Roman ruins site.
Dating back to the second century AD, the temple is dedicated to the goddess Juno, Jupiter’s wife. You can still admire a monumental doorway, standing amidst ancient stones. According to experts, it might have been a starting point for processions between this temple and another one, dedicated to Baal, standing at the top of this archaeological site.
