The “Judge Well” – Bir El Kâdi

The “Judge Well” – Bir El Kâdi is found south of Saint Stephan’s Church. The well was originally constructed during the 19th Century by numerous citizens of Batroun city. Judge Michael Ibrahim El khoury financed the excavations and this justifies the name given to the well from which the population of Ancient Batroun city drank water until 1961.
