Wadi Al Habiss
Wadi al Habis, or the Hermit Valley, is located on the heights of Furzol, a few kilometers northeast of Zahlé on the road to Baalbek. Furzol is mainly known for its Roman ruins, such as the remains of a temple dedicated to Apollo.

Wadi al Habis also features Byzantine, Roman, and Canaanite stone tombs and temples carved into partly natural and partly artificial caves. The floors of rooms and caves are connected by narrow passages. An entire network has been created in the rock.
