A solo exhibition by Ali Khalifeh
Drawing on the phenomenon of bioturbation—the way living organisms reshape the earth—this body of work reflects on Gaza as a landscape marked by displacement, destruction, survival, and the continual rewriting of boundaries. Inspired by documented photographs and satellite imagery, the paintings move between aerial and terrestrial perspectives, revealing the land as a witness that carries traces of both erasure and persistence.
