Established In 23 of June 2014 Jounieh City Public garden has been opened to the general population, under the support of H.E. Minister of Tourism Michel Pharaon and within the sight of Jounieh Municipal Council President Mr. Antoine Frem along with other various authorities and important figures.

A fake solid wall portraying the negative aspects of fast and uncontrolled urbanization was the door to tear down and visitors entered a charming green space planted with various trees and floral species in the middle of the city of Jounieh. The opening service was trailed by a social event on the ways of the garden where all invitees delighted in the green space, clean air and quietness that this garden gives. Out-of-the container sustenance and drink stations amazed the participants.

A multi instructive place that ought to be an absolute necessity in every urban areas, the park has been taken care of and maintained well by a designated team. The distinctive uniqueness of every flower, plant and tree encompassing the garden demonstrates an amazing ecological culture. The garden is equipped with a long windmill and a demolished old well which dates back to the 1900 which is now employed to supply the enclosure with water. The park/ garden offers visitors a quiet place to enjoy simple activities like walking, getting a charge out of nature and its odor and respecting the wonderful recently built inns and eateries encompassing the garden.
