The summit of Mount Barouk, (or Jabal Al Barouk in Arabic), is situated within the Mount Lebanon mountain chain. It reaches 1,943 meters above sea level.

This mountain is home to the Chouf Nature Reserve, renowned for hosting the highest concentration of cedar trees in Lebanon.
