A balcony on George Aziz Avenue provides an exceptional viewpoint to admire the Jezzine waterfall, which at 74 meters, is the tallest waterfall in Lebanon.
Jezzine is often referred to as the "Bride of the Fall" due to its majestic beauty. To experience the fall's splendor, take the road leading downwards from the west entrance of Jezzine, next to the Statue of the Virgin Mary, also known as Saydet el Maabour. A short walk leads you to the base of the fall, where the thundering sound of the cascading water will captivate your senses. About 500 meters away from the waterfall is a cave that once served as the refuge of the famed Lebanese Emir, Fakhreddine II, until Ottoman forces forced him out, leading to his trial and execution in Constantinople in 1635.
