Emir Mounzer Mosque

Also known as An-Naoufara Mosque; This Mosque is located in the center of Beirut, in the East of Al-Omari Great Mosque, facing Bab Idriss and Souk Al-Tawilé. It was built in 1620 (1056 Hegira year) by Emir Mounzer Ibn Suleiman Al-Tanoukhi, during the reign of Emir Fakherdine II. This Mosque is also known under the name of An-Naoufara Mosque because of the fountain in its courtyard.
