The Great Mosque is found south side of the souk on the way to St. Louis Church and its four walls form a rectangle from an elevated view and date back to the 13th Century. Formerly, it is a Crusaders compound that has the shape of a fortress. Moreover, when viewed from the sea, it is seen as a huge and solid structure with its own chapel.
