Khanqash Mosque was built around the 14th Century AD during the Mamluke historical period and has an area of approximately 330m2. Its initial usage was to provide residence to Muslim mystics or Sufis. It is equipped with a pool and an open courtyard that is bordered by small rooms and an elevated podium situated behind an arch of rotating black and white stones. The arch is held up with the help of granite columns.
