The current building of this church dates back to 1907 and reflects various architectural styles. Yellow stones, commonly used in many Beirut buildings, are integrated with large cut Roman columns. The church underwent restoration in 2002, and stained-glass windows designed by French artist Jacques Guiton were added to give a modern touch to the historic structure.
