Boukaat Loubnan Trail: North-Beqaa Trail - Ouyoune Orgosh Hermel
This trail starts from Ouyoune Orghosh and passes by Nabee el Shimaly water spring. Hikers then cross a 12-km dirt road amid a beautiful set of Juniper trees to reach the area of Jbab El Homr. In summertime, this area becomes the scene for shepherds tending their flocks. From Jbab el Homr, one can easily see the Kornet el Asshra 2814 m highest peak in the Donniyeh region. The dirt road reaches an end at this point, and hikers cross apple and cherry gardens to get to Al Sawah region. This is where you will see the Lazzab Lodge located in the Hermel Mountains at an altitude of 1860 m above sea level. This area harbors an unspoilt nature, as moving from Ouyoune Orghosh to Hermel, the trail overlooks to its right majestic valleys replete with juniper trees.
