Also known as Camp Amchit, we offer various types of rooms and chalets that suit all taste and budget in a peaceful and natural environment.
Camping "Les Colombes" is situated in Amchit about 38 km north of Beirut. Occupying 35'000 square meters, it is set on a 40 meters cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. This camping was the first to open in Lebanon in 1965. Founded by Dany and Malek Lahoud it accommodates tourists and locals 365 days a year and 24 hours a day, in a peaceful, natural and wild environment.
This coastal town, found halfway between Beirut and Tripoli is well-known for its old and traditional houses. The famous ruins of Byblos are found at 5 minutes' drive from the campground. Apart from camping, we offer various types of rooms and chalets that suit all taste and budget.
We offer no services or activities, but have 2 accesses to rocky beaches. Dare the adventure, walk the pathways to the roman style theater, follow the trees to the sea down the cliff, snorkel and discover the fresh cold water streams. Cook your own fish, have a barbecue, and enjoy the sunset or the storm.
