The meeting point is the "Ardoum Winery" cellar and distillery. We meet there at 9 am, to get to know the other participants. We take the opportunity to admire the breathtaking view of the mountain.
At 9:30 am, it's the start for the walk in Mtein, where we discover the historic square, so atypical: very vast, it is surrounded by palaces built from the 17th century.
During our journey, we explore magnificent old houses that once belonged to renowned owners, as well as visit historic churches. Along the way, we come across the remains of a 19th-century silkworm factory, and take a break to marvel at the artistic museum, home to over 100 exquisite paintings.
After the walk, we'll head back to Ardoum Winery at noon. You'll have the opportunity to indulge in some of the best local spirits like arak, vodka, and gin, and savor the exquisite house wine while enjoying the breathtaking views from the terrace on the mountainside.
After this pleasant experience, we sit around the table for a traditional Lebanese lunch to discover local and homemade dishes in a friendly and welcoming environment. Lunch ends with a delicious Lebanese coffee, or a white coffee depending on preference.
Then, you can walk the superb alleys of the cellar. We take the opportunity to listen to some explanations on the production of wine and local alcohol. Visitors will have an opportunity to do some shopping and leave with a few good bottles of their own.
