This unique terroir gives its uniqueness to the exceptional texture of Les Caves D’Eden’s wine.
The fermentation takes place at the small artisanal winery that was once the family’s house and the place where wine and Arak were made.

Owner’s Story 

A family-owned and run boutique winery, Les Caves D’Eden is young in years but not in experience. Its roots go back to the beginning of the twentieth century.
Its owner, an architect by trade but a wine lover by heart, Fouad Barakat has possessed a grand passion for wine and wine making ever since he was a little child. At a very young age Fouad witnessed and even helped his father and grandfather in producing wine and Arak and fell in love with vinification ever since.
This passion has never ceased to stir up inside him till it was rekindled in 2015 when he decided to revive the family business and thus Les caves d’Eden came to life.
This passionate vintner makes wine in a way that emphasizes the distinctiveness of his grapes and vineyard sites. He sees wine as a statement of art, savouriness and music. He believes that good wine excites the imagination, therefore he makes sure each one of his wine’s aspects creates an individual experience via the senses.
Fouad is involved in every step of the winemaking process, from planting to bottling with a lot of care and devotion.
To him winemaking transcends the business of producing wine, it’s rather a process of creation where a grape turns into a drop of ruby that later becomes a feast for the senses.

Along the way, our wine maker shares insights about our vineyard's history, grape varieties, and winemaking techniques. For those looking to indulge in a cheese and wine experience, we offer carefully curated pairings of artisanal cheeses and our finest wines. Guests can savor the complementary flavors and aromas of different cheeses alongside our diverse wine selection.
