This trail does not climb to Mount Hermon but goes along it. Once inside the mountain, the footpath will lead to "Foht Hima Hassan" a wide sinkhole. From the sinkhole, follow a dirt road leading towards the Fakiaa region and Khirbet Bou Hadideh. The area is abundant with ancient archeological ruins, scaterred ruins, and military trenches from World War II. The trail ends in Birket el Fakiaa.
This trail can be connected with the Lebanon Mountain Trail section from Rachaya to Hasbaya. This trail can also be extended to reach the village of Tannoura and Ain Hercheh to respectively visit ancient ruins and the Roman Temple of Ain Hercheh.
