Adonis Valley

Adonis Valley is an inspirational natural and cultural landmark of Lebanon located in Fatri. 

Fatri, a traditional Lebanese village, having an altitude of 500 meters, stretches out through a narrow river gorge from the 6,000-year old city of Byblos on the Mediterranean coast all the way to the mystic springs of Afqa, crowning the valley at more than 1,000 meters of altitude. This geographical location not only preserves an exceptional bio-diversified environment, but also the culture and myths of its early Phoenician inhabitants, earning it worldwide recognition and classifying it as a World Heritage Site. Thus, we are proud to bring you the valley’s best kept secret; the Adonis Valley Organic Products Line. 

As part of our commitment to grass-rooted sustainable development and community engagement policy, a substantial part of our production is allocated to Lebanese farmers who grow organic products in various Lebanese remote areas. We offer them support on many levels, such as providing them with seeds, organic certifications, technical support and networking.

Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve

Located in Kesrouan province in Lebanon, ‘Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve’ shines a rare combination of history and biodiversity. The entire district comprising of Jabal Moussa and the neighboring villages joined the UNESCO network of biosphere reserves as part of the Man and Biosphere agenda (MAB) in 2009.

With the help of a participatory and flexible-to-adapt program, and as an element of the ‘MAB’ program, advancement in the lifestyle and standard of living of the inhabitants and preservation of nature is addressed by the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve. It is situated in the middle of excessive human activities with an aim to protect the environment, the natural heritage remains intact and is home for many endangered species of plants, animals and even birds.

Its slanted hills are coated with thick forests filled with numerous oak and pine trees making the environment very suitable and safe for scarce and endangered mammals like wolves, hyenas and rock hyraxes. Moreover, a Global Important Bird Area (IBA) containing more than 137 different species of migratory and high-reaching birds is allocated in the territory.

The Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa operates different activities and schemes which are grouped into three classifications.

• Handbooks employed to identify distinct flowers and trees.

Château Sainte-Andrée

Château Sainte-Andrée  est un vignoble situé au village Ghebalé-Ftouh Kesserwan. C’est une production limitée  d’un grand vin libanais.

Des vins rouge, rosé, blanc et liqueur qui traduisent la passion d’une famille libanaise pour ces spiritueux…une famille qui a donné noms et identités à chaque cuvée.

Cuvée Laura : Vin insolite issu d’un assemblage atypique de 60% Shiraz qui a été élevé pendant vingt-deux mois dans des fûts de chêne et de 40% Pinot Noir. Ce vin reflète l’originalité du territoire libanais. Riche en bouche avec des tanins bien présents, il est  servi  à 16˚C avec viande rouge, charcuterie et fromage.

Cuvée Lynn : Cuvée spéciale .Vin de garde provenant du Mont-Liban, généreusement élevé en fûts de chêne français neufs pendant vingt-deux mois. L’assemblage se compose de Cabernet-Sauvignon ,Syrah et Merlot.
Ce vin se déguste à 18˚C bien carafé.

Cuvée Peter : Vin de garde issu de vieilles vignes, assemblée de  Cabernet-Sauvignon et Merlot. Ce vin a été élevé en fûts de chêne français  pendant douze mois et vieilli en bouteille.
Riche bouquet d’aromes tertiaires avec des notes de café, truffes et de chocolat noir. Ce vin non filtré, se savoure à 18˚C bien carafé et se marie avec grillades et cuisine bien relevée.
